We are seeking a dedicated Pengajar Privat Bahasa Urdu to deliver high‑quality instruction to both beginner and advanced learners. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about language education, possess strong communication skills, and can adapt teaching methods to a diverse, online audience. As a private Urdu instructor, you will help students across Indonesia and beyond develop fluency, cultural understanding, and confidence in both spoken and written Urdu.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners, aligning with each student’s goals and proficiency level.
- Conduct live, interactive sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or other virtual platforms, ensuring clear audio‑visual quality and a supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, oral examinations, and written assignments, providing constructive feedback and actionable improvement strategies.
- Develop supplemental learning materials such as worksheets, flashcards, and multimedia resources to reinforce grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson outcomes, and payment schedules using the company’s online management system.
- Stay current with contemporary Urdu teaching methodologies, digital tools, and cultural trends to continuously enhance instructional effectiveness.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians (when applicable) to discuss student performance, address concerns, and suggest additional practice activities.
- Participate in periodic virtual faculty meetings and professional development webinars to share best practices and collaborate with fellow instructors.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Linguistics, Education, Urdu Literature, or a related field.
- Language Proficiency: Native‑level mastery of Urdu (both oral and written) with the ability to explain linguistic concepts in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
- Teaching Experience: Prior experience teaching Urdu in formal or informal settings is advantageous, though enthusiastic newcomers with strong communication skills are welcome.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet), digital whiteboards, and file‑sharing services.
- Personal Qualities: Patient, empathetic, and highly organized; able to motivate learners of varying ages and backgrounds.
- Equipment: Own a reliable computer, high‑speed internet connection, webcam, and headset to ensure professional‑grade sessions.
- Availability: Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00–17:00 Indonesia Western Time, with flexibility for occasional evening or weekend sessions to accommodate students in different time zones.
