Introduction
We are a fast‑growing garment confection business specializing in high‑quality costume apparel for both domestic and international markets. Our products are sold through private boutiques, leading Indonesian marketplaces, and export channels. To keep our reputation for excellence, we are looking for a dedicated Professional Seamstress (Penjahit Baju) who can contribute to our production team and help deliver flawless garments on time.
Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings, patterns, and specifications to cut fabric accurately.
- Perform hand‑sewing and machine‑sewing operations, ensuring consistent stitch quality and alignment.
- Assemble costume components, including linings, embellishments, and accessories, following established workflows.
- Conduct in‑process quality checks, identify defects, and make necessary adjustments before final inspection.
- Maintain and clean sewing machines, needles, and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate closely with the design, cutting, and finishing teams to meet production schedules.
- Document work progress and report any material shortages or equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Participate in on‑the‑job training programs for new stitching techniques and emerging fabric technologies.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
- Assist in inventory management of thread, buttons, zippers, and other sewing accessories.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of SMP/MTS or equivalent; SMA preferred.
- Age: 18‑35 years.
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Residency: Preference given to candidates residing in Karawang Timur.
- Employment Status: Not currently enrolled in college and not pregnant.
- Experience: Prior sewing experience is a plus, but candidates without experience will receive comprehensive training.
- Skills: Proficiency with needle and thread, basic fabric handling, ability to read simple patterns, and a keen eye for detail.
- Work Hours: Monday‑Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (exact days to be confirmed).
- Strong teamwork orientation and willingness to take responsibility for assigned desk‑jobs within the production line.
