Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Petugas Pengumpulan Data Lapangan to join our field operations team in the Bandung area. This position plays a critical role in our credit recovery process by visiting delinquent borrowers, delivering official warning letters, and securing payment commitments. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to negotiate payment solutions that meet both the company’s and the customer’s needs.
The role is full‑time, Monday through Friday, with working hours from 09:00 to 18:00. You will report directly to the Field Operations Supervisor and will collaborate closely with the collections and customer service departments.
Responsibilities
- Visit debtors in person and deliver Surat Peringatan (SP) when accounts are overdue by more than 20 days.
- Validate the debtor’s current situation, conduct a thorough analysis of the outstanding obligations, and document findings accurately.
- Negotiate flexible repayment options that align with the debtor’s financial capacity while protecting the company’s interests.
- Track and monitor promised payment dates, following up diligently to ensure compliance with the agreed schedule.
- Locate borrowers who cannot be reached at their registered residence or workplace by using alternative contact methods, local networks, and public records.
- Confirm and update all customer data, including phone numbers, mailing addresses, and employment details, to maintain a reliable database.
- Prepare detailed activity reports after each visit, highlighting outcomes, challenges, and next steps, and discuss these with the supervisor.
- Maintain a systematic log of all collection activities, correspondence, and payment agreements for audit and compliance purposes.
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies regarding data privacy, fair debt collection practices, and ethical conduct.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing field insights that can refine collection strategies and risk assessment models.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Age: No upper age limit; candidates of any age are welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience in field collection, credit recovery, or a related customer‑facing role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve payment disputes effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and reporting.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices, GPS navigation, and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling within the Bandung area.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and resilience when dealing with challenging situations.
