Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and diligent Petugas Pengumpulan Data Lapangan to join our field operations team in Bitung. This role is crucial for maintaining the health of our loan portfolio by engaging directly with borrowers, delivering official notices, and facilitating effective repayment solutions. Responsibilities
- Visit debtor locations across the Bitung region to deliver Surat Peringatan (SP) when arrears exceed 20 days.
- Conduct on‑site validation of the debtor’s financial condition, gather required documentation, and analyze repayment capacity.
- Negotiate payment options that are realistic for the borrower while protecting the lender’s interests, including installment plans, restructuring, or settlement offers.
- Monitor agreed‑upon payment promises, follow up on due dates, and initiate further collection actions if commitments are not met.
- Locate borrowers who are unreachable at their primary residence or workplace by leveraging public records, local contacts, and field verification techniques.
- Verify and update all customer data, ensuring phone numbers, mailing addresses, and contact persons are accurate in the central database.
- Prepare detailed visit reports, document negotiation outcomes, and discuss findings with supervisors during daily debriefings.
- Maintain a systematic log of all collection activities, including timestamps, conversation summaries, and any escalations.
- Adhere to company policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards throughout the collection process.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, up to 50 years of age.
- No prior experience required; thorough training will be provided.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Basic understanding of debt collection processes and willingness to learn advanced negotiation techniques.
- Proficiency in using mobile devices and data entry tools to record field information accurately.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle challenging conversations calmly.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling within the Bitung area.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 09:00 – 18:00, with occasional overtime during peak collection periods.
