Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Retail Store Guard and Customer Service Officer to join our growing team. This full‑time position is based in a bustling retail environment where you will be the first point of contact for shoppers, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor, addressing inquiries and guiding them to products that meet their needs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including aisles, fitting rooms, and display areas, to create an inviting shopping experience.
- Monitor store premises to prevent theft, ensure safety, and enforce store policies, acting as the primary guard for the retail space.
- Manage inventory levels by receiving deliveries, checking stock against purchase orders, and restocking shelves promptly.
- Arrange product displays and promotional materials according to visual merchandising guidelines.
- Operate the cash register, process sales transactions accurately, handle returns and exchanges, and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Support daily operational tasks such as opening and closing procedures, preparing reports, and coordinating with suppliers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets, participate in store meetings, and share feedback for continuous improvement.
- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including shifts on weekends, holidays, and evenings, to ensure consistent store coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age limit: 30 years or younger.
- Gender: Open to all genders; candidates must be single.
- At least 1 year of experience in retail, hospitality, or a related customer‑service role (fresh graduates with strong soft skills are also encouraged to apply).
- Strong communication skills, honesty, and a high level of responsibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional appearance with a neat and clean personal presentation.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Prior experience in retail or F&B environments is considered a valuable plus.
