Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Satpam Keamanan Lingkungan to join our professional security team in North Surabaya. This role is essential for maintaining a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment for residents, businesses, and visitors. The successful candidate will be a disciplined, physically fit individual who can respond quickly to incidents, enforce security protocols, and act as a reliable point of contact for emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the assigned area to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
- Monitor closed‑circuit television (CCTV) screens, alarm systems, and access control panels, reporting any irregularities immediately.
- Verify the identity of visitors, issue temporary badges, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
- Respond promptly to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other incidents, providing first‑aid or fire‑fighting assistance when required.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, maintain daily activity logs, and hand over pertinent information during shift changes.
- Enforce community rules, traffic regulations, and parking policies to prevent accidents and disputes.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services during major events or critical incidents.
- Perform routine safety inspections of gates, fences, lighting, and other security infrastructure, recommending corrective actions.
- Participate in regular training sessions on self‑defense, fire safety, and crisis management to keep skills current.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times, ensuring the uniform is clean and well‑kept.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (Package C graduates are welcome to apply).
- Male candidates only, aged 40 years or younger.
- At least 2 years of relevant security experience or holding a Gada Pratama certification.
- No history of chronic or hereditary illnesses that could impair performance (e.g., heart disease, hypertension, diabetes).
- Physically fit with a proportional body shape; no visible tattoos, earrings, or other body modifications.
- Ability to work rotating shift schedules, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong mental attitude: proactive, decisive, quick‑thinking, and possessing a positive character.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
- Proficiency in fire‑fighting techniques, environmental security, self‑defense, rapid adaptation to changing situations, and strict adherence to security protocols.
- Willingness to sign a contractual agreement for placement in North Surabaya.
