Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers entering the store, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
- Identify customer needs through effective questioning and active listening, then recommend appropriate electronic products and accessories.
- Demonstrate product features, explain technical specifications, and provide hands‑on trials when applicable.
- Negotiate prices, upsell complementary items, and close sales while maintaining adherence to company pricing policies.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring merchandise is stocked, labeled, and displayed according to planograms.
- Process transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, handle cash, credit, and mobile payments, and issue receipts.
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to the Store Manager when necessary.
- Track daily sales performance, report key metrics, and contribute ideas for improving conversion rates and average basket size.
- Participate in regular product training sessions to stay current on the latest electronic gadgets, warranties, and promotional offers.
- Comply with store security procedures, including inventory checks, loss‑prevention measures, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑28 years (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, retail, or customer service.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong passion for electronic products; prior knowledge of smartphones, laptops, and home appliances is a plus.
- Ability to work Monday through Sunday, 08:15 – 17:00, with a focus on delivering consistent service.
- Willingness to be stationed in Jombang and travel occasionally for regional events.
- Active SKCK (Police Clearance Certificate) and clean personal background.
- Professional appearance: no visible tattoos or piercings.
