Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program that covers product knowledge, sales methodologies, and internal processes.
- Assist senior sales engineers in identifying and qualifying new market opportunities within the manufacturing, energy, and automation sectors.
- Analyze technical specifications provided by customers and recommend appropriate product solutions that meet performance and cost criteria.
- Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and product demonstrations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Develop accurate quotations, technical proposals, and supporting documentation in collaboration with the engineering and finance teams.
- Engage in negotiations, address objections, and close sales to achieve or exceed quarterly targets.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, pipeline status, and forecasted sales in the CRM system.
- Travel to client sites, trade shows, and regional offices as required to support business development efforts.
- Continuously gather market intelligence, monitor competitor activity, and provide feedback to product development teams.
- Support post‑sale activities, including hand‑over to the service department and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; however, up to 1‑2 years of relevant experience in sales, technical support, or engineering is preferred.
- Basic understanding of technical products, mechanical/electrical systems, or industrial solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is required.
- Strong presentation and public‑speaking abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer requirements and propose tailored solutions.
- Result‑oriented attitude with a high level of motivation to build a career in sales.
- Negotiation, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to assignments across different operational areas.
