Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Front Office Staff to join our dynamic hospitality team. This pivotal role serves as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from arrival to departure. The successful candidate will embody the professionalism and hospitality standards that define our brand, while providing leadership and mentorship to junior front office personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front desk operations, including guest check‑in, check‑out, and room allocation.
  • Manage reservation systems, verify booking details, and coordinate with housekeeping to guarantee room readiness.
  • Address guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and anticipate needs to enhance overall satisfaction.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule front office team members, fostering a collaborative and service‑driven environment.
  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior management.
  • Maintain accurate cash handling, billing procedures, and nightly audits.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments—housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage—to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement and uphold brand standards, safety protocols, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in shift rotations, including weekends and holidays, to provide continuous coverage.
  • Contribute ideas for service improvements, upselling opportunities, and revenue‑generating initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in Hospitality Management is highly preferred.
  • Open to all genders; applicants must demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • At least 1‑2 years of experience in a front office or guest service role within the hotel industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to engage guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Proven track record of honesty, discipline, responsibility, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, including handling high‑pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday schedule, 08:00‑17:00).
  • Competence with reservation software (e.g., OPERA, Fidelio) and basic computer applications.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑centric mindset.
