Responsibilities
- Sort incoming packages according to destination zones, using both visual cues and system‑generated instructions.
- Scan each package’s barcode to update tracking information in real‑time, reducing errors and enhancing traceability.
- Transport sorted parcels to the designated pick‑up or outbound lanes, ensuring a smooth hand‑off to drivers or delivery partners.
- Inspect packages for visible damage, report anomalies, and follow proper procedures for handling compromised items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and company hygiene policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to meet daily throughput targets and adapt to peak‑season volume spikes.
- Assist in periodic inventory counts and support audit activities when required.
- Provide feedback on workflow improvements, contributing ideas to streamline sorting processes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Male candidates preferred, in line with current operational guidelines.
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Strong ability to adapt quickly to new procedures and technology tools.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, handle simple calculations, and operate scanning equipment.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move parcels weighing up to 20 kg for extended periods.
