Introduction
BNI Life, the insurance arm of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), is seeking a dynamic Bankassurance Specialist (BAS) to join our expanding team in East Jakarta. The specialist will act as the bridge between BNI Life’s insurance products and BNI’s retail banking network, delivering tailored life insurance solutions to individual customers across multiple BNI branch locations such as Rawamangun, Kayuputih, Klender, Buaran, Kramat Jati, Cipayung, and Jatinegara. This is a full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday role with standard business hours (08:00 – 17:00).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for life insurance products within assigned BNI branch outlets.
- Conduct proactive prospecting, needs analysis, and consultative selling to both existing and new banking customers.
- Deliver engaging product presentations, explain policy features, and guide clients through the application and underwriting process.
- Negotiate terms, address objections, and close sales while adhering to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
- Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal BNI staff (tellers, relationship managers, branch managers) to generate referral pipelines.
- Provide post‑sale support, including policy servicing, claims assistance, and periodic policy reviews.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, conversion rates, and client satisfaction to the regional sales manager.
- Participate in continuous training programs, product knowledge workshops, and certification courses offered by BNI Life.
- Represent BNI Life at branch events, community outreach programs, and promotional activities to increase brand visibility.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/S1 (any major) candidates are also encouraged to apply.
- Age between 20‑35 years (SMA track) or 22‑35 years (D3/S1 track).
- At least 1 year of experience in financial services marketing; 2 years preferred for candidates with a high‑school background.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, communication, and presentation, with a polished and professional appearance.
- Strong interest in sales and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with both internal banking partners and external customers.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team‑oriented environment.
- Not currently listed as an active member of AAJI (Asosiasi Asuransi Jiwa Indonesia).
- Proficiency in Indonesian; English language skills are a plus.
