Introduction

PT. Prima Teknologi Indonesia is seeking a proactive Staff IT Support to join our growing team in Bandar Lampung. The role focuses on the maintenance of systems and networks, ensuring that our internal users experience seamless, secure, and reliable IT services. Responsibilities

  • Provide first‑line technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices across Windows and macOS platforms.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware failures, software conflicts, operating system glitches, and network connectivity problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Conduct routine system updates, patch management, and antivirus deployments to safeguard the organization’s data.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge‑base articles to streamline future support requests.
  • Participate in small‑scale IT projects such as software roll‑outs, hardware refresh cycles, and network redesigns.
  • Assist the senior IT team in planning and implementing security policies, backup strategies, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and generate weekly reports for management review.
  • Provide training and guidance to end‑users on best practices for using company‑provided technology.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of all IT assets and ensure proper licensing compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows & macOS), and common office software suites.
  • Hands‑on experience with network protocols, TCP/IP, VLAN configuration, and basic firewall rule sets.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, prioritize tasks, and deliver effective solutions under pressure.
  • Previous involvement in IT or software projects is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical users.
  • Professional demeanor—honest, loyal, and mature—with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work effectively both as a team member and independently.
  • Willingness to be based in Bandar Lampung and travel to remote office locations when required.
  • Preferred: Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
