Introduction
We are a dynamic retail organization operating in the heart of Jambi, dedicated to delivering quality products and exceptional service to our customers across Simpang Rimbo, Mendalo, Tembesi, and Bulian. To support our expanding footprint, we are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Store Sales and Customer Service Staff. This full‑time role offers a vibrant work environment where teamwork, professionalism, and a customer‑centric mindset are celebrated.
Responsibilities
- Open the store each morning, ensuring all systems, lighting, and cash registers are ready for operation.
- Close the store at the end of the day, reconcile cash, secure inventory, and prepare the store for the next business day.
- Engage with customers, understand their needs, and promote product features to drive sales and increase basket size.
- Maintain an organized sales floor by arranging merchandise, rotating stock, and ensuring displays are attractive and well‑stocked.
- Accurately record inventory movements, update stock levels in the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and conduct regular stock‑taking checks.
- Prepare daily sales reports, summarising transactions, returns, and key performance indicators for store management.
- Keep products clean and presentable, adhering to hygiene standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Monitor store security, enforce safety protocols, and promptly address any incidents or customer concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets, share best practices, and support one another during peak periods.
- Participate in a mandatory two‑month training program in Kota Jambi to master product knowledge, POS operation, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Female candidates, maximum age of 30 years, and currently unmarried.
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) or Vocational School (SMK) equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, positive attitude and excellent verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced retail setting.
- Willingness to work full‑time, with a schedule of Monday to Sunday, 09:00 – 21:00.
- Flexibility to be placed in any of the designated locations (Simpang Rimbo, Mendalo, Tembesi, Bulian) and openness to relocation if needed.
- Not currently employed or enrolled in academic studies.
- Commitment to complete the two‑month training period in Kota Jambi.
- Basic computer literacy for POS and inventory management.
