Responsibilities
- Operate both automatic and manual vehicles safely, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Plan and execute daily travel routes, taking into account traffic conditions, weather, and client schedules to guarantee on‑time arrivals.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle(s) in pristine condition, including regular cleaning, routine inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, and timely servicing.
- Coordinate with household staff and executive assistants to manage calendars, appointments, and any last‑minute changes in travel plans.
- Provide a comfortable and courteous environment for passengers, including assisting with luggage, opening doors, and attending to any special requests.
- Ensure confidentiality of all client information and uphold a professional demeanor at all times.
- Maintain accurate mileage logs, fuel receipts, and expense reports for reimbursement and auditing purposes.
- Stay updated on local road networks, alternative routes, and new traffic regulations in the Makassar region.
- Act as a point of contact for emergency situations, demonstrating calm and decisive action when needed.
- Participate in periodic driver training sessions and safety workshops to continuously improve driving skills.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Valid Indonesian SIM A and SIM C licenses with no pending suspensions.
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience, preferably with high‑end or executive clientele.
- Proven ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles confidently.
- Strong knowledge of Makassar’s roadways, shortcuts, and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time‑management skills and flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Outstanding personal attributes: honesty, responsibility, discretion, and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Physical fitness to assist with loading/unloading luggage and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide references from previous employers.
