Introduction
We are looking for a dedicated Support Teacher – Penguatan Pembelajaran to join our dynamic educational team. This role focuses on strengthening classroom instruction for early‑grade students, providing supplemental support that enhances learning outcomes and fosters a love of discovery. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of pedagogical knowledge, genuine enthusiasm for working with children, and a commitment to continuous professional growth. The position is full‑time, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, offering a stable schedule that allows for meaningful interaction with both students and fellow educators.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in delivering the curriculum for elementary grades, ensuring lessons are aligned with national standards.
- Develop and implement supplementary learning activities that reinforce core subjects such as mathematics, language, and science.
- Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group tutoring sessions for students who need additional academic support.
- Monitor student progress through observations, informal assessments, and documentation, reporting findings to the lead teacher.
- Prepare teaching materials, visual aids, and interactive resources that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and inclusive classroom environment, promoting respect, curiosity, and collaborative learning.
- Participate in regular training workshops, staff meetings, and professional development programs to stay current with best teaching practices.
- Coordinate with parents and guardians to communicate student achievements, challenges, and recommended strategies for home reinforcement.
- Assist in organizing extracurricular events, field trips, and school celebrations that enrich the student experience.
- Uphold school policies, including punctuality, dress code, and health & safety protocols, and model exemplary behavior for students.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a degree in Pendidikan Masyarakat with a focus on Pendidikan SD is preferred.

- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) for occasional school‑related travel.

- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
