Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Task Force Penjualan (Canvasing/Promotor) to join our fast‑growing FMCG team in the beautiful region of Samosir. The successful candidate will act as the frontline ambassador of our brand, driving sales growth through strategic visits to retail outlets, executing promotional programs, and gathering valuable market intelligence. This role offers a hands‑on opportunity to influence product distribution, build lasting relationships with retailers, and contribute directly to the company’s market share expansion.
Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute sales visits to designated retail outlets and distributors, ensuring full coverage of the assigned route.
- Conduct on‑site product demonstrations, present promotional offers, and activate in‑store marketing materials according to the campaign brief.
- Collect and update outlet data, including stock levels, competitor activity, and any changes in routing, and communicate these insights to the Team Leader.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve product‑related complaints promptly, escalating serious issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Prepare and manage product stock and Point‑of‑Sale Materials (POSM) required for each visit, aligning with sales targets and promotional calendars.
- Gather market feedback, competitor pricing, and consumer trends, then compile detailed reports for the sales management team.
- Maintain accurate sales administration, including order entry, daily activity logs, and compliance with company SOPs.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply‑chain colleagues to ensure timely delivery of promotional kits and replenishment of inventory.
- Identify new sales opportunities, upsell complementary products, and achieve or exceed monthly sales quotas.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 35 years or younger.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational requirements).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in FMCG sales, with a minimum of 3 months in a similar canvasing or promotional role.
- Own a motorized vehicle with a valid SIM C and be able to travel independently across the Samosir area.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to build trust with retail owners and staff.
- Highly adaptable, quick learner, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and data entry.
- Analytical mindset to interpret market data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
