Responsibilities
The Waiter – Guest Service Specialist will be responsible for delivering seamless dining experiences to our guests. Core duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting guests promptly, presenting menus, and providing detailed explanations of dishes and beverage options.
- Taking accurate food and drink orders using our POS system, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
- Serving meals and beverages in a courteous and timely manner, monitoring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station, including setting and resetting tables, polishing silverware, and ensuring all service areas meet hygiene standards.
- Collaborating closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate service flow, especially during peak periods on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
- Handling cash transactions, processing payments, and preparing accurate end‑of‑shift reports.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
- Participating in regular training sessions, menu tastings, and team meetings to stay current on new offerings and service protocols.
- Providing assistance during special events, such as holiday promotions or private functions, and being flexible to work during Lebaran holidays as required.
Requirements
- Male Muslim, aged 18‑30 years.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; active university students are also welcome.
- Prior experience in a restaurant or culinary setting as a waiter is highly preferred.
- Strong work ethic: reliable, honest, diligent, and capable of working efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with colleagues and guests.
- Flexibility to work on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, and during the Lebaran holiday period.
- Residency in Solo, preferably within the Alun‑Alun Utara vicinity, to ensure punctuality and local knowledge.
- Basic proficiency in food and beverage service techniques, including table setting, order taking, and guest interaction.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine desire to grow within the hospitality industry.
