Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a clear explanation of daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, entering them into the restaurant’s POS (Point‑of‑Sale) system.
- Serve dishes and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met and addressing any guest requests or concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, resetting tables quickly after guests depart.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate order timing and special dietary requirements.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and end‑of‑day cash‑out procedures using the cash register system.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper handling of food and sanitization of workstations.
- Participate in regular shift briefings, share feedback, and contribute ideas for improving service quality.
- Assist with inventory checks for tableware, napkins, and condiments, notifying management of any shortages.
- Uphold the restaurant’s brand standards by wearing the prescribed uniform and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates only, in line with the restaurant’s current staffing policy.
- Ability to operate a modern cash register/POS system with accuracy.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
- Strong sense of honesty, reliability, and personal discipline.
- Residence within Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) for easy commute.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly, customer‑service oriented attitude.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette, including safe handling of hot plates and alcoholic drinks where applicable.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays or service carts up to 15 kg.
