Job Description

Manage and develop a high performing Legal department

Support the CFO on legal matters during fundraising and M&A activities

Advise senior management on current or new applicable laws and regulations impacting the business

Manage and improve corporate standards and policies to avoid or minimize legal risk in all corporate activities

Ensure the proper registration of all the intellectual properties owned by the company

Review, draft, and negotiate strategic / key contracts and ensure proper escalations are made

Engage and manage external legal counsel in an efficient manner

Manage and advise on corporate governance

Maintain all regulatory licenses needed to operate the business

Manage key external relationships including lawyers, regulators, law enforcement agencies, and vendors

Maintain accuracy and completeness of legal documents
Bachelor of Law from a reputable law school. Masters Degree preferred.

Minimum 8-10 years of working experience at prominent corporate law firms and/or technology

Significant experience in drafting, reviewing and completing legal documents both in English and Indonesian, hence a high proficiency of English is a must

Strong legal knowledge for corporate law and analytical skills (both technical and operational aspects).

Experience or exposure to tech sector is an advantage

Desire to play an immediate, hands-on role in the day-to-day leadership and operation of the Legal department.

Demonstrated success developing/implementing/enforcing internal controls
