About the Role If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly-analytical team who enjoys digital marketing and analytics, look no further. As a Digital Marketing Manager for Merchant Marketing, you will be handed the reins in digital marketing strategy and merchant optimization for multiple merchant-facing products. You’ll get the opportunity to create, design and push world-class digital marketing campaigns that directly impact SME growth.Working closely with Product Marketing and Business teams, you’ll be in charge of Commerce Enablement marketing activities that utilize ad platforms, including social media and other display advertising campaigns.
What You Will Do
Supervise all paid media campaigns in all channels, including but not limited to: app acquisition, event/community acquisition, and lead generation
Manage a small team of digital marketing specialists to scale up all merchant-facing brands of Gojek’s performance
Evaluate keywords, trends, competitor and market behaviors to identify opportunities that will advance our digital marketing campaigns among other commerce enablement brands
Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of analytics tools (e.g. AppsFlyer and Google Analytics)
Identify areas of risk and opportunity through on-going analysis on a large data set and explain changes to improve performance
Understand and prioritize the cost of effort and resources for each campaign execution within different channels, weighted against the result of successful execution upon each option against business targets.
Collaborate with the Creative and Product Marketing teams in ideation and creation of communication materials to improve (potential) user experience
Set up conversion event tracking on the app across various digital platforms, and ensuring the marketing attribution is being enabled thoroughly across all web & app platforms
What You Will Need
At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in managing digital marketing campaigns
Familiarity with digital marketing best practices, and up-to-date with the trends
Strong working knowledge of Google Ads (UAC, SEM, YouTube), Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Analytics, and AppsFlyer (or other app analytics)
Experience managing third-party media buying with mobile ad network and DSP (DV360, TTD, Premium Buys)
Capacity to learn and work with databases and technical systems, as well as interface with data systems and engineering team
Excellent analytical thinking and data-driven decision making skills
Leadership experience is a major plus

Our Performance Marketing & Intelligence for Merchant Marketing has 9 members based in Indonesia. With our work heavily guided by numbers, we target and nurture merchants, not only for Gojek’s continued success but also the growth of SMEs in Indonesia. For instance, our past projects include merchant audience segmentation, lifecycle strategies, conversion rates and acquisition cost improvement. Currently, we are working on optimizing merchants’ lifecycle and supporting features adoption by developing growth marketing strategies through automated nudges. Moving forward, we are aiming to grow the home business base, on top of big merchants.
