Job Description

Seeds Quality Testing Supervisor





YOUR TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Execution of Standard Germination, Useable Transplant, Soil Germination and Field Emergence Tests as per set protocols.
  • Execute Vigor tests: Field emergence test (FET), Radical Emergence Test (RET), tests as per requirement by following the standard protocol.
  • Timely QC test result updating in SAP as per MDD, communication and maintain QC data back up at regular intervals.
  • Execute onePSS to bring operational efficiency & behavioral based improvements.
  • Execute GTD projects as per project timelines.
  • Work with Seed Production Innovation (SPI) teams for validation and implementation of new physiological test protocols.
  • Train seasonal and laboratory employees, that they perform with desired precision and efficiency.
  • Ensure supervision and compliance to good warehouse storage management practices
  • Support to get LSSM certification & to enable printing of own BPSB labels.
  • Support GOT and field emergence tests (FET) based on requirements in RC.
  • Identify CTQ ( critical to quality) process, implement Control measures, bring quality culture –sampling, Return seed handling as per SOP, Repacking, Seed Moisture ,Fumigation, Spraying,

WHO YOU ARE


  • Degree or Masters degree in Agriculture, Seed Science & Technology,
  • Agronomy, Physiology
  • Minimum 2 years experience in QA Lab Management.
  • Team Player
  • Result oriented
  • Good Network
