Job Description

Influx provides customer service for brands and tech companies on-demand, 24/7, every day of the year (including holidays). To achieve this, our operation includes agents and managers working around the globe. We also make good use of training, QA, data, and insights.

We’re looking for experienced, passionate and highly accountable people to join our tech team. As a VoIP Engineer, especially in Genesys, you will play a key role in ensuring technology works seamlessly for everyone else at Influx. You will need to make informed decisions, communicate effectively, and ensure an efficient roll-out of technological needs.

Duties

  • Ensure we meet expectations with our phone and cloud system at all touchpoints in the customer lifecycle: pre-sales, sales, onboarding, ramp up
  • Ensure we meet expectations with all internal stakeholders: Security, Finance, Legal, Marketing, HR, Management, Agents
  • Work collaboratively with senior engineers
  • Document everything in a centralized location, making it easy for others to learn
  • Work with the Sales team on custom proposals and tenders.
  • Work with external engineering POC to optimize and resolve faults
  • Create training videos for Influx team members
  • Troubleshoot dropped calls and other technical outages by agents
  • Ensure we hit financial targets with usage
  • Know in advance when client service is set up to fail through inappropriate technology choices

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Experience in implementation (professional services), configuration, and development experience in TDM and/or VoIP Call Center solutions (Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, Aspect, LiveOps, Contactual, InContact, Clearview, Interactive Intelligence and/or CosmoCom)
  • Applicants with experience implementing and/or managing Genesys PureCloud are preferred
  • Possess strong influencing and negotiating skills, while building constructive relationships with business IT and non-technical business partners
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of network technologies, networking concepts, and network administration
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Passion for continuous self-improvements and IT excellence
  • Fast learner and able to adapt with new technologies quickly
  • Know how to do API integrations between phone systems
