Series A startup, focusing in digitalizing MSMEs payment infrastructure.

Job Description

As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible in the technical development of the company's payment product as well as leading the team.

  • Supervising the work on one of the pods in the Payments squad.
  • Hire, mentor and grow engineers in the team.
  • Coordinate with Product managers to decide on the timelines and phases of development.
  • Plan development with the tech team on the requirements and help in work distribution.
  • Setup the right processes for the team to function properly.
  • Involved in various architectural discussions across teams to support proper integrations.
  • Drive sprint mechanisms such as backlog grooming, capacity estimation, sprint planning and execution to improve team productivity.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software development out of which min 4 years experience in coding in Java / Go lang along with other related frameworks (like spring, hibernate, Kafka etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in people management and delivering high-quality systems quickly and efficiently.
  • Good knowledge of software development fundamentals (Data structures, Algorithms, problem-solving, OO design, and systems architecture).
  • Good knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL,MySQL as well no-sql databases like DynamoDB,MongoDB etc.
  • Knowledge of multithreading, asynchronous systems and memory management is a great advantageFamiliarity with CI/CD concepts and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Dockers etc.) B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Electronics with working knowledge of software applications.
