Job Purpose and Impact
The Tropical Oils Supply Chain Director will lead and provide strategic leadership to managers, supervisors and indirect staff, overseeing all supply chain activities across Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain. We seek a seasoned professional to design, propose and implement logistic and supply chain strategies, guidelines and procedures to meet requirements supporting strategic long-term business needs. This role is a leadership member of the Tropical Oils sub-group and CASC APAC BOSC. Key business and functional stakeholders include Tropical Oils, CASC APAC, regional and global Supply Chain functions. Key Accountabilities
Design and develop a holistic supply chain/network optimization for Tropical Oils businesses of Tropical Palm, Palm Refinery and Copra.
Lead and contribute to an Asia Pacific team to construct forecasting, demand planning and allocation planning for a long-term outlook.
Approve supply and demand calculations for a large team and evaluate more complex analyses of performance and result, ensuring data and insights are seamlessly shared with key parts of the organization (operations and commercial), on time and with high level accuracy.
Contribute to cross-functional and/or cross-platform leadership teams to share knowledge, experience and best practices, including supply chain modernization and continually improved process, systems and tools.
Oversee and provide extensive leadership and integration of multiple projects aligned with the strategy such as order management and customer service transformation, network optimization investments (ports, barges, bulking installations/warehouses, long-term contracts), and supply chain planning and execution technology implementation in Tropical Oils sub-group.
Oversee managers and supervisors in the selection of staff and other employee for supply chain.
Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for supply chain professionals, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum of twelve years in a Supply Chain related job (e.g. Planning, Operations, Logistics, Procurement/Sourcing) , five years of leadership experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Solid managerial experience and in remote management skills – have experience managing large teams across multiple geographies in Southeast Asia
Experience and proven track record in project and change management (broad scope and cross-functional)
Experience and knowledge of Integrated Supply Chain Processes
Proficiency in Bahasa strongly preferred.
Knowledge/experience of Lean/Six Sigma is a plus
Advanced University Degree preferably in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
APICS certification
ERP (SAP, EKA, CTS, etc) Knowledge
Ability to travel 25-40%
Depending on the location of the successful candidate, the role can be based in Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia.
