Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a multinational home appliances manufacturer. Our client is seeking a professional with eight to ten years of experience in R&D role, ideally from a manufacturing company and proficient in English, for the job of R&D Manager. The job is based in Central Java, Indonesia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for research, planning and implementing new programs in the company
  • Oversees and monitors the entire process of creation or improvement for new products and programs from the initial planning phase until the production
  • Keep updated about the industry and innovations in order to fit the customer's expectations and remain competitive on the market
  • Establishing a testing process with prototypes, following-up every step and reporting to senior management every technical issue
  • Developing new concepts with the Business Unit and monitor the overall costs of research
  • Leading research projects and make recommendations to the top-management to reach the sales goals

Job Requirement :

  • Bachelor of Electronics Engineering & equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years of R&D in the electronics & home-appliances electronics field
  • Well-versed in CAD software
  • Analytic approach with a proven ability to apply scientific principles, and deep understanding of market & customer needs
  • Strong understanding of the production, manufacturing and sales of the parts or product flow
  • Willing to be placed in Central Java, Indonesia
