Job Description

Location Jakarta Work Type Permanent Application Posted February 10, 2022 As our Junior Tax Officer, you will hold an important role within the Tax team "wheel" of GoTo Financial group that directly impacts GoTo Financial’s stakeholders. In this role, you will get to maintain day-to-day tax compliance matters and also contributes to tax dispute processes. The Finance Accounting team will be your companions during this ride. Best yet, you will have the opportunity to flex your analytical and management skills, getting us even closer to our ultimate goal of ensuring consistent and efficient earnings stability.

What You Will Do

  • Maintain day-to-day tax compliance matters; including preparation of monthly and annual tax calculation/payment/returns, i.e. WHT, VAT, CIT)
  • Provide tactical solution on main tax issues
  • Follow procedures and timeline to operate tax compliance matters
  • Provide support in the event of tax audit, financial audit, due diligence, or any tax dispute process (e.g. collate the required data/documents for the said processes)
  • Ensure the application of tax treaty rate treatment for WHT purposes is valid, e.g. review and follow-up DGT Forms in relation to overseas vendors

What You Will Need

  • S1 Bachelor of Economics (Majoring in Accounting or Management) or Bachelor of Social Science (Majoring in Fiscal Administration) with minimum GPA of 3.00 (4.00 Scale)
  • Oral & written English skill (basic level)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and high-growth organization
  • Able to work well individually and as a team player.

Our Tax team, a subsidiary of the Finance Accounting and Tax team, consists of around 9 people who are all based in Indonesia. Working alongside the Finance Operations, we are predominantly concerned with ensuring all tax regulations have been followed properly and maintaining that tax compliances are regulated. If you have any questions about finance, accounting, or tax, we are your people!
