Summary:

The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week).


Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time (+ 4 weeks) of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Duties

Assists the Supply Supervisor in managing overall operations at the Pondok Pinang ICASS-FAP Warehouse for service functions not limited to cargo shipment support, residential make-readies, office space management, disposal removal, and special events setup at more than 200 residential locations, office spaces, and other designated locations. The incumbent stores more than 20,000 mostly wooded and soft furniture properties at the warehouse and with a staff of 20 (1 x make-ready supervisor, 4 x team leaders, and 15 x warehousemen) employees ensures good customer service-delivery, accountability, security, proper receipt, storage, access control, transfer, and disposal of those properties, and that safety guidelines are met. S/He may work for short periods of time as the backup Supply Supervisor.


Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in managing a warehouse and or the supply department of an Embassy, government agency, major international company or equivalent local government entity involved in the storage and supply of household or office furniture, equipment and or appliances is required. This experience must include a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity.

Education Requirements:

Minimum completion of two years of college studies (university or post-secondary studies).

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE (this may be tested): Level III (Good Working Knowledge) speaking/reading/writing in English, and Level III (Good Working Knowledge) speaking/reading/writing in Bahasa Indonesia.


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Computer literacy to utilize applicable software to manage the Property Accountability.

  • Supervisory skills needed to organize, manage and supervise the post supply program.

  • Must possess a valid driver's license (SIM-A). This may be tested.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Bi-Mission in to Indonesia and ASEAN, Jakarta, may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.

COVID-19 Requirements for Eligible Family Members

As required by Executive Order 14043, Eligible Family Members who will be employed on a Family Member Appointment (FMA) or a Temporary Appointment (TEMP) are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee’s duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work, etc.), subject to such exceptions as required by law.
