MISSION

( Why the position exists )


- Local expert for heat & surface treatment process

- Provide and Involve on productivity actions related to heat & surface treatment processes

- Work with cross functional team to trouble shoots any quality issues

- Perform technical / process audits at tier-2 suppliers on periodical basis to ensure the quality level

- Develop skill team competencies in line with EAJP expectations, Edison, deploy training,

- Provide technical support related to heat treatment and surface treatment process to the factories,

- Ensure the robustness of parts made by heat & surface treatment tier-2 suppliers,

Support manufacturing teams to deliver good products with committed quality level at the right service level with competitive cost through objectives of;

  • AOC
  • OTD
  • DPM
  • SIO
  • MBC, CAPEX, Etc

REQUIREMENTS

Education :

Diploma or/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field


Job Related Experience:

  • 2 years in Surface treatment and Heat Treatment

Business Understanding :

  • Component cost structure, Mechanical Design, Continuous improvement and Kaizen

Others ( e.g. language skills, technical skills ):

  • Active English, Material selection, Engineering drawing (ISO8015), Quality issue problem solving skill, proficiency in Microsoft excel and power point


COMPETENCY Level – 1: Novice; 2 – Basic; 3 – Competent; 4 – Advanced; 5 - Expert
