Job Description

Job Summary

  • Manage engineering department productively, efficiently and effectively, as well as guide and coordinate all activities related to the operation of production equipment and utilities (infrastructure); Safety, Health, and Environmental programs; and all related GMP programs.
  • Prepare, control and maintain engineering department budget in accordance with planning and execution of engineering department operation to provide general support to plant operation, including Manufacturing, Quality, Laboratory, and Warehouse, other supporting function operations, plant improvement program, and engineering compliance to meet current requirements.
  • Establish and implement the engineering strategy to drive capacity expansion/efficiency/sustainability etc and meanwhile fully comply with compliance;
  • Ensure proper and continuity of utility and facility operations to support plant operations;
  • Strategically work on site investment plan, layout plan and Ensure CAPEX & OPEX governance in place to optimize asset investment and utilization;
  • Control engineering and utility/facility expenses as pe budget
  • Deploy strategic initiatives like smart operation, digitalization, carbon neutral per site goals and well engage with regional stakeholders
  • Responsible for team capability development and pipeline building, embracing DEI culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electronic Engineering or Automation background, Master’s preferred
  • Experience 8+ years experiences in Maintenance or Engineering
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards (GMP and EH&S)
  • Experienced with OTC Solid or Powder technology, Liquid mixing and filling equipment and technology, plant layout design, Capex management
  • Understanding and well versed in handling HVAC, Water system, Chiller, Compressed air, Boiler, and Genset.
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral) and computer literate
  • Decisive manner, good interpersonal skill, strategic thinking and strong result delivery
  • Training Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards (GMP and EH&S)
  • Training in handling HVAC, Water system, Chiller, Compressed air, Boiler, and Genset
  • Strong leadership skills to handle team organization design, capability building, difficult conversations
  • Good collaboration with x-functions and good communication with regional and global SME and stakeholders
