JOB STATEMENT

This position is responsible to protect and improve business profitability by managing, developing and coordinating related Sourcing functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Sourcing

Translates Business area's (BA) business requirements and market understanding into procurement strategies, development actions and implementation roadmaps
Owns BA procurement performance, spend and delivery against the agreed targets in area
Drives product sourcing to execute sourcing strategies to deliver improvements and ensures early involvement in proposal planning1 in close collaboration with Business Partners
Drives specific competitiveness improvement initiatives (such as BCC)
Drives Supply Based Development exercise within the BA
Leads cost reduction exercises in conjunction with relevant stakeholders

2. Business Partnerships

Ensure alignment between local operational procurement teams, global category team and other BAs
Represents procurement in the BA with close collaboration to internal and external stakeholders of the BA
Manages project procurement and ensures close collaboration with Delivery

3. Supplier Relationship Management

Owns supplier relationships for key strategic suppliers in categories under BU responsibility and negotiations with them.

4. Processes

Ensures procurement processes and tools, guidelines and policies are implemented in the BA

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A high level of manufacturing knowledge.
A technical background and understanding of sourcing responsibilities
More than 3 years Sourcing experience
Strong SAP skills
Good interpersonal skills
Negotiation skills
Strong analytical skills
Good skills in Microsoft applications specifically on Microsoft Excel
Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
Long term planning and change management ability
Excellent English, both written and spoken
