Coordinating between principals and vendors in sharing the required details like tech pack, spec sheet, block pattern, trim details, actual color & quality, etc., and explaining our expectations/importance of sample development;
Cross costing - Basics / Seasonal Basics & Product Development within the pool of vendors for further reduction in FOB. Further price negotiation to fit into our target price;
Sample Approval – Need to approve Fit & PP sample;
Time and Action – Maintain a detailed tracker to track the status of orders with a heads-up on styles which are sliding on delivery;
Vendor Evaluation – Evaluating new vendors approaching for business, review their product capabilities presentation, coordinating with principals audit team to audit their factory capabilities, work on cross costing to assess feasible to fit in our required price point;
Support vendors to fill in the open cost sheets for basic styles .
Qualifications :
Minimum Diploma or Bachelor degree, preferably majoring in Fashion Business/Fashion Marketing/Merchandising/ IGTC preferred - International Garment Training Center
At least 3 years experienced in apparel merchandising from buying agencies or Factories
Should know about garment testing and sound fabric knowledge is a must
Passionate about product - preferably knits
Discreet, professional and well spoken, with excellent communication skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Excel
Fluent in written and spoken English
