We are now looking to hire a talented individual as a Consultant to join our office in Jakarta and to help developing our business in Indonesia and the South East Asia Region. The rapidly increasing spending power, the tech-savvy population and Indonesia´s massive public investments create great business opportunities for Swedish companies within a wide range of industries. Since Ericsson first came to Indonesia in 1907, many other Swedish companies have followed. Today, around 100 companies with ties to Sweden are active in Indonesia – and many are exploring this exciting and important market. In addition, there are a large number of Indonesian companies and partners which also represent Swedish products and technologies.
Consultants in our team help Swedish companies grow global sales and drive the development of Indonesia by introducing high-tech solutions and sustainable business applications to the market.
This is management consulting with a higher purpose.
What do we expect from you?
You will be supporting our clients’ growth strategies by participating in diverse consulting assessments (e.g. market entry, feasibility studies, sector analysis, partners search) and promotion activities (e.g. support in driving platforms, initiatives, trade delegations and exhibitions). This will often include arrangement of and participation in business meetings between Indonesian local and national government institutions and Swedish clients.
In addition, you will answer export-related questions from Swedish companies and develop networks in the Indonesian government. Our relevancy with clients depends on our contacts on the ground, our ability to bring new market insights, in-depth market analyses and a best-in-class strategic, consultative advisory.
Our projects mainly cover Indonesia and the South East Asia region, although we often work in cross-market projects with our colleagues in other offices across Asia Pacific.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a person who has an exceptional drive, a can-do mindset and who won't mind a steep learning curve to work in a driven, positive, and energetic team. A person with:
Experience from an international context from studying or working
Fluency in English and Swedish or Indonesian as native language
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia
