The Role

You will be at the front seat in delivering the best service and experience to our customers through retail and operations. For retail you will drive the business expansion while strategically opening stores whenever it is suitable and help shape the retail playbook delivering the best retail experience to our customers. In operations you will uphold the highest standard of excellence to be the best in class. You will be leading one of the biggest departments in Love, Bonito Indonesia. Your role entails being in-charge of the day-to-day decision making, retail financial success and strategic business expansion, you will shape a large contribution for the growth of the company in the next few years. You will be directly reporting to the Country Head and will work closely with the Retail HQ team in Singapore.


Main Responsibilities :

Business Development: Retail Strategic Expansion

  • Create a strategic plan for LB retail expansion to address new customer and revenue growth opportunities head-on; includes planning and budget management, leveraging financial and smart calculated business decisions.
  • Conduct market research and reach out to landlords for offers and negotiations.
  • Constant innovation in balancing both sales and customer experience; making LB the most-wanted brand in town.
  • Accountable to report to the local Management and Regional office for the retail performances and future growth plans.
  • Maintain good relationships with external parties such as landlords, malls, department stores, contractors, etc.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.
  • Analyze store performance and feeding relevant and insightful information to other departments such as Merchandising, BI, and Marketing.
  • Ability to propose and execute an opening or closing of stores/ counters depending on business needs and strategies.
  • Rental negotiations and feasibility study for existing retail locations during contract renewals and/or crisis-management.

Retail Operations

  • Lead the retail team which includes the area supervisors, store supervisors and sales associate; making clear JD & KPI for each team member and aiding them to achieve it.
  • Hire and train team members to bring LB core values to life; Making sure all the retail team embodies the brand and its vision.
  • Point out problematic areas and seek to constantly improve policies, operational procedure and internal processes.
  • Store visits to spot training gaps, evaluate effectiveness of recent training and build strong relationships with store teams.
  • Projects include: Initiatives for customer loyalty, marketing plan and projects related to leveraging current retail presence.
  • Key person in liaising cross-department functions to ensure day-to-day operations.

Business Operations: Warehouse & Logistic

  • Lead the Warehouse & Logistics team to be performance driven by defining their JD & KPI and aiding them to achieve it.
  • Liaise with Warehouse Supervisor/ Executive on daily order fulfillment (both customers & stores), inbound & outbound of goods, coordinating the storage, etc.
  • Point out problematic areas and seek to constantly improve policies, operational procedure and internal processes.
  • Monitor inventory flow & distribution to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Oversee and review performance of 3rd party logistics vendors.
  • Liaise with the Merchandising Department to ensure best planning on inventory capacity management.
  • Facilitate other department’s special projects by building reliable fulfillment SOP tailored to the projects.

Requirements

Requirements & Experiences :

  • 5+ years of experience in retail and have had prior credentials as brand manager, retail manager, business development or related experience.
  • BA/ BS degree in business, marketing, economics or other related fields.
  • Detailed oriented, highly analytical and distinctly logical.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high goals and KPIs by delivering quick results
  • Great management and people-development skills.
  • Effective communicator and an influential team player.
