About Our Client

Our client is a leading industrial manufacturing company. A well respected player boasting a strong track record historically, they are a premium brand in the industry. Consequently, they are looking to bring on board a dynamic Custom and Trade Specialist who can assist the business at a time of rapid growth and make a key contribution to the business


Job Description

  • Provide support for each of the regional Customs & Trade Compliance Specialists to maintain the files of current and expired licenses
  • Maintaining the various trade reporting systems and the related classification
  • Responsible for the data integrity and updates to ECC (GTS) as well as any other agency sites
  • Provide assistance to the Tax and Legal teams
  • Accountable for data integrity and timeliness of updates within SAP
  • Provide assistance to the logistics operations staffs to obtain data and reports
  • Respond to government inquiries or requests when needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of working in international trade, import/export compliance or equivalent
  • International trade certification (CITP, certified freight forwarder, certified customs broker) preferred
  • Willing to travel to their site at Banten and only for Indonesian nationals
  • Master or Bachelor degree in a supply chain management/logistics
  • Competencies required: leadership skills, dealing with ambiguity, adapting to change, priority setting, collaboration, influential, innovative, simplicity
  • Experience working in a global trade data management system
  • Global perspective of international trade operations
  • Systems and computer skills: SAP, Advanced MS Office (eg: Excel, Powerpoint, Access)
  • Proven track record in strategic agility and operational excellence
