Senior Subcontracts Specialist - (2105055)

Description - External

Job Overview:

  • Responsible for the performance and direction of all subcontracts , master service agreement, commercial and administration work from RFP to close out till payment.
  • Reporting to and assisting Project Subcontract Manager or Senior team member to manage the Subcontract activities in the day to day subcontracts activities in the project and functionally to the Area Subcontract Manager- Asia or his designee
  • Independently prepare tendering, and subcontracts administration to perform efficiently, effectively and in accordance with corporate policies and procedures, timelines and ad-hoc needs from the Project / Department.
  • Review all site queries and change orders related to subcontract works.
  • Ensure that all Subcontract inspection and certification documentation are progressively submitted to the Project Quality Manager and/or Quality department.
  • Review of all Subcontract invoices for compliance to the invoicing terms and conditions stipulated in the subcontract agreement.
  • Interface with Subcontract Administrator on any commercial issues, if applicable for non Procurement & Subcontracts personnel performing the Subcontracts Coordination function
  • Provide input to project weekly / monthly report. 20. Attend and minute meetings with Subcontractors.
  • Assist with the development and update of cost forecasts. 22. Conduct subcontract Close-Outs on completion of the work
  • Other tasks as assigned by Project Manager and /or Area Subcontracts Manager.
  • Working in accordance with company policies and statutory obligations.
  • High standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with the code of business conducts.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications :

  • 5 years (minimum) EPC industry work experience preference with offshore projects. Commercial and contractual management experience are essential. Experiences in quantity surveying or Subcontract Management would be preferred
  • Bachelor degree and posses in a quantity surveying, construction, engineering, or the relevant experience
