About the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communication
The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications (Infrastructure) is responsible for the design and implementation of the Australian Government's transport, infrastructure, regional development and communication and arts policies and programs. We seek to work with key international counterparts and industry in the region to foster safe, efficient, sustainable, mutually beneficial and competitive transport systems.
About the position
The Program and Business Manager works as part of a small team primarily focused on transport safety engagement and project delivery as well as supporting the Department’s other portfolio interest within Indonesia and regionally. The position will liaise with the Ministry of Transportation and associated transportation and search and rescue agencies as well as the transportation sector more broadly in Indonesia.
The position will be required to work directly with a number of Australian Government transport-sector agencies to provide advice and support on the design and delivery of transport safety projects under the Indonesia Transport Safety Assistance Package (ITSAP).
The position will administratively manage the office in all respects and support the Counsellor in developing and delivering activities in the field, including event management, research and translation.
