About the Role

As our Gopay Risk Management - Money Back Guarantee, you’ll be part of the Gopay Risk Management team that directly impacts Gojek’s partners. Your main objective will be to work with the operations team in building the SOP for closing the claims and disputes. The Risk Management team will be your companions during this ride. Best yet, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your analytics and management skills, getting us even closer to our ultimate goals providing the best form of protection for our customers.

What You Will Do

  • Identify scenarios where risks should be covered using the guarantee scheme including but not limited to brute force, stolen phone
  • Calculate the optimum amount of coverage/claim on each scenario taking into account the cost center’s risk capacity (outer boundary of risk) and appetite (how much are we willing to absorb in order to achieve the objectives)
  • Design requirements for the claims resolution business process which includes, claims handling (customer service), validation, and fraud investigation. Design an optimum SLA for each commitment
  • Maintain an exceptions list/log where applicable with clear sign offs/authorization
  • Work together with Finance teams for the risk capacity budgeting and loss allocation
  • Work together with Operations team as the first line officers on claims resolution
  • Work together with Analytics team in order to use rigorous historical data for the policy scheme

What You Will Need

  • At least 3 years working experience as a risk analyst. Experience working with insurance products (either financial or operational risk) will be a strong plus
  • Strong logical thinking skills and able to produce informed judgments with minimum information/data
  • Strong in SOP building, governance principles (maker/checker), highly informed with operational metrics (SLA, exceptions, escalations)
  • Able to build dashboards as needed to monitor key program metrics i.e. Tableau or others
About the Team Our Gopay Risk Management team, a subsidiary of the risk management team, consists of 10 people based in Jakarta . Working alongside the Risk Management teams, we are mutually concerned with protection our partners and customers. The gist of our role is to oversee the providing the best protection for our partners within Gojek, including Drivers, Merchants & Customer.
