The Product team helps turn the Finantier vision of an Open Finance platform into reality across Southeast Asia. We build the strategy and roadmap for our products based on obsessively listening to our customers and their end-users, prioritizing with rigour, creating beautiful product experiences, and then driving execution across our Tech teams and with our external partners. The team is responsible for clarifying the whys and whats for the products we are building, removing obstacles for our developers, testing product experiences with our users, working with our marketing and business development teams to launch solutions to market, tracking product success metrics and optimizing for customer delight, value and growth.
We are seeking a Senior Program Manager for our Open Finance products who is a self-starter. You thrive when working with great autonomy while knowing that you can rely on solid support from colleagues.
This is a high-visibility and high-impact role at the intersection between business strategy and technical execution. You will coordinate the work of cross-functional teams at our Clients, Partners and our internal Finantier teams as we take brand new product ecosystems from zero to one, grow them iteratively and build a solid platform business. You will work with high-calibre colleagues at Finantier across strategy, product management, design, engineering, data science and customer-facing teams, all committed to our mission to increase financial inclusion across Southeast Asia..
The Responsibilities
Setup and lead major cross-functional programs across internal and external teams
Work with company leadership, business development, strategy and product teams to identify opportunities, set direction, define roadmap and establish success metrics for your programs
Work with stakeholders to identify milestones, constraints, risks/gaps and dependencies
Build the project plan that will get us to our goals; continuously measure and adjust
Set up and evolve best practices and tools that will maximize information flow and minimize disruption to project teams
Communicate with empathy when coordinating with our Clients and Partners
Work fluidly between individual project work and overall planning cycles as we prioritize roadmaps and plan resourcing
The Requirements
10+ years of continuously-increasing responsibility in software engineering management or project/program management
Ability to converse easily with software engineers and product managers to understand opportunities and diagnose issues
A track record of being at the helm of steering high-impact projects through difficult obstacles and achieving successful outcomes
Great people skills and diplomacy, ability to build close working relationships with people from across different functional departments and diverse backgrounds
Strong analytical skills: know how to measure progress and impact; how to use data to diagnose problems and test solutions
Excellent written communications: summarize very complex information and boil it down to the essential when giving status updates, formulating asks and calls to action
Experience in technical software product companies that went through massive growth
We prefer experience in enterprise software and with good knowledge of the Southeast Asian market financial services/fintech or another regulated industry, ideally for products that combine both API and UX product surfaces
A strong desire to have everything you do be grounded in solid user research and an empathetic customer-first mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication in English and one Southeast Asian language
A high degree of creativity and enjoyment in finding solutions to hard problems that have never been solved before
