Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor role is to supervise day to day activity in the warehouse; ensure all process in the warehouse follow with agreed SOP; manage manpower and other resource to achieve effective cost; support improvement program in the warehouse; ensure global and corporate HSSE compliance.
Key responsibilities:
QHSSE
Perform all responsibilities and tasks in a manner compliant to Maersk Indonesia & Philippines QHSSE procedures
Identify and report all forms on non-conformity which can negatively impact QHSSE management system to FSSO
Local Logistics Strategy
Coordinate specific area within the team, contributing to the execution of the WND strategy
Contribute to the execution of enhanced logistics programs for GKC/AKC clients
Create customer loyalty via the execution of Service Delivery
Reinforce APM group culture, values and representation.
Operations
Ensure the latest SOP is fully implemented, and that any change to the operation is to be communicated to the team and included in the SOP/IOP of respective service providers
To provide continuously consistent services to all clients without interruption
To support the implementation of client’s requirements such as, but not limited to, bar code scanning, scan/pack, labelling etc
To support the implementation of process improvement and client development plans, aiming for cost savings and/or revenue enhancement for Maersk Logistics
Support value creation for clients through a constant focus on delivering improved service levels at a lower total cost to serve
Where applicable, take on duty of Facility Safety & Security Officer
Ensure that the team are equipped with the knowledge from the latest SOP/QRG/IOP
To co-ordinate with other Maersk Logistics entities as appropriate, and to ensure that “best practices” are communicated and formalised for use between clients across WND teams in APA
Ensure Direction of the Team/3rd parties (loaders, forklift drivers, surveyors etc) as required to ensure the processes are completed as per relevant SOP
Any issues preventing process completion as designed should be immediately addressed with the relevant contact point to seek a resolution, failing that issues should be escalated to the respective Manager or their deputies in the work area
Manage the implementations of operational processes, guidelines and standards for WND Operations
Drive KPI’s, measurements well as proactive analysis to prevent errors from occurring
Ensure that tools are in place to coordinate planned workload with resources (manning and equipment) needed within the operation
Ensure all activities are completed within standard times.

Understand how to manage break bulk cargo shipment and transportation
Understand how to manage loose shipment and break bulk storage quality
Having experience in handling same cargo type or same client will be plus value
Have strong leadership skills
