A Pursuit Manager, or Business Development Manager in our world, takes ownership of the end to end bid process to help position Jacobs to win these world defining projects and continue growing our market share. Autonomy is a given, but the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines is important to being successful in this environment. The talent to engage and build capability in remote teams, both in the local and global regions, will be just as important as major pursuit and senior level sales experience.
The Business Development Manager will pursuit tracking / identification and subsequent bid leadership within the Asia Sales team for Power & Energy across the country of Indonesia. The Business Development Manager works with the Outside Sales Director o instil an inclusive culture within the team that values diversity of thought and lives Jacobs’ Culture of Caring. You will need to be effective at bringing the ideas of others / clients to market; have good judgment about which ideas and suggestions will work in the Energy Transition context; and be able to manage the client’s ideas in order to develop winning and creative proposals.

You have a successful track record in pursuing and winning bids in engineering, professional services, or a Business-to-Business environment in Indonesia. Someone who is coming from a consulting background and is well-connected with the Power and Energy players in Indonesia (with authorities, developers, and contractors) will be a great fit to the position.
