Job Description

SMDV is a tech-focused Venture Capital that partners with entrepreneurs building exceptional technology companies that aim to change the landscape in Indonesia and the region. We are currently hiring for our portfolio companies.

We are looking for a Marketing Director that will be responsible for:

Be an expert in both Online and Offline Marketing.

Lead Marketing overall and build a world-class team to drive user growth, retention and efficiency.

Increasing mindshare of the brand using offline campaigns, content production, digital advertising, social media and offline presence and events.

Working with the operation and store development team to ensure the visual of the stores can resonate brand's promise.

Execute winning marketing strategies and track all marketing KPIs, providing actionable insights for improvement and growth.

Create omnichannel campaigns and ideas for multiple use-cases across all of the company's channels - paid, owned, earned and drive the execution of these campaigns.

Be at the cutting edge of marketing best practices to propose and integrate with new partners and solutions that can improve the company's user growth and engagement KPIs.

Conduct research on top fashion brands, influencers, fashion weeks, celebrities to craft content ideas that will resonate with Indonesia's user base.

Build and motivate a team of marketing professionals that can scale the company's marketing aggressively while remaining lean, fast and efficient at all times.

This role requires you to be a jack of all trades - you need to love marketing and growth hacking and you need to be a hustler who can get stuff done, in an error-free, data-driven manner.
At least 8 years of working experience in the Marketing field.

Master degree or MBA from a top tier university is a plus, but Bachelor's is a must.

International exposure (education or working) is a plus and would be highly preferred.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a great personality and ability to make decisions.

Strong leadership with excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills.

Drive and hunger to achieve results, independent, self-starter and initiative, and the ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

High commitment, motivation and flexibility.

Maturity to communicate with senior leadership team internally and externally.
