Job Description

As the Design Engineer for our Mineral Processing division based in Jakarta, you will assist in creating innovative, technically sound, cost-effective solutions to meet and exceed customer requirements.

You will be a collaborative and open-minded individual with innovative ideas and enthusiastic to provide design & engineering solutions and assist with new product development and modification of existing products.

As a data-driven and detail-oriented engineer, you will monitor the performance of solutions through condition monitoring, review designs and conduct analyses using engineering calculations, FEA & DEM.

You will utilise your attention to detail to capture engineering requirements, create/review technical documents, create/review engineering drawings and ensure all relevant standards have been adhered to.

Key Selection Criteria
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering - BE (Mechanical) or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with 3D modelling, 2D drafting and data management in Unigraphics NX/Teamcenter or similar CAD package is desirable.
  • Proficiency with FEA & DEM analysis is desirable.
  • Experience with cast product design, fabrication, welding experience, structural knowledge and the design of mineral processing assets including Chutes, Mills and Crushers would also be advantageous
