Job Description

The Graphic Designer Intern is responsible for providing support for the Marketing department through a poster, illustration, banner, social media, and/or other as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to take initiative, show good judgment, and manage projects from beginning to end
  • Create image files for poster, banner, illustration, social media via designer’s review
  • Come up with fresh creative ideas and concepts on behalf of the company
  • Present design drafts to the relevant managers and must be flexible in incorporating any feedback given into future designs
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to anticipate next steps or needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor of design in college or art school (undergraduate is also acceptable)
  • Skilled in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
  • Strong attention to detail, sensibilities, and attitudes towards timeliness and teamwork
  • Strong internet access
