If the skilled content creator we just described sounds like you, we would love to have you join us as a Freelance Education Writer on a special project related to scholarships, awards, and student funding programs throughout the world.
At TOP Education, we are a full-service marketing agency in the education space that specializes in digital content, research, and communications to help the right information reach the right students.
Our new website, Scholaroo, aims to help streamline the scholarships research, application, and submission processes for students and awarding bodies.
The position is remote-friendly as you’ll be working with content writers, editors, and creators from across the world.
Some important objectives for our new website include:
Gathering useful and credible information Enable students to apply for scholarships in time and based on their eligibility with accurate data about the scholarships.

Engage students Inform and educate students and potential scholars of their options and how much they can leverage scholarships to fund their education and build on a solid foundation for their careers.

Amplify reach for awarding bodies Provide a platform to scholarship-awarding foundations to be able to connect with the right and deserving candidates who can fulfill the objectives attached to different programs.

Key Duties

  • Extensive research to gather up-to-date and accurate information
  • Write detailed scholarship pages with comprehensive details
  • Optimize written content to make it more SEO-friendly
  • Follow style guidelines and best practices for structured content
  • Complete weekly and monthly writing projects on time
  • Follow processes and workflows to improve the content creation process

Requirements (unless you convince us otherwise):

  • 3+ years writing experience at a digital media outlet, publication, agency, or other content-producing platforms
  • Experience working with educational institutes or organisations, or have a solid demonstrable understanding of the education industry within and outside the U.S.
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Highly dependable, with a solid work ethic
