Summary

VONG Kitchen are a concept by one of New York's most celebrated Michelin stars chef - Jean-Georges Vongerichten and his son, Cedric Vongerichten. With a lively night bar, the restaurant seeks to attract a mix of celebrities, socialites, and movers and shakers in the business world, while serving seasonal and signatures dishes of Cedric Vongerichten for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Le Burger is a new, modern, artsy restaurant with an industrial feeling, bringing the New York City downtown vibe to Jakarta. Le Burger will serve signature burgers with delicious sides and deserts, also offering fast breaksfast lunch Grab & Go style. With a beer garden attached to the restaurant, Le Burger will also offer a variety of beers on tab and bottles with exclusive hip atmosphere.


As Bar Manager, your job responsibilities are :

  • Ensures that all beverage operations are in compliance with all systems, control policies and procedures.
  • Develops drink recipes and recommends drink pricing for all outlets.
  • Brings innovation and creative ideas to create specialty cocktails for our menu.
  • Maintains appropriate levels of inventory of beer, liquor and wine. Manages the ordering of all alcohol and mixers and notifies the Chef of produce needs.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all state liquor laws.
  • Implements cost control procedures.
  • Organizes and conducts pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
  • Coordinates and assists other managers with planning and execution of all Restaurant events.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Manages department members that may include, but is not limited to: Food and Beverage Supervisor, Bartender, Host, Server, Cocktail Server and other food and beverage service staff.
  • Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs and tests for comprehension. Manages the scheduling of all bartenders and cocktail servers. Manages the training of all Food and Beverage associates in responsible alcohol service.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria,

  • Indonesian citizen, ideally graduated with Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
  • At least 2 years experiences as Bar Manager in 5 stars hotel or reputable restaurant
  • Have good knowledge about Beverage, Wine, and Alcohol
  • Strong Leadership with excellent communication skills, interpersonal skill, negotiation skills
  • Motivated, energetic and positive personality with a guest service focus
  • Language proficiency in written & spoken English and Indonesian
