To manage effectively the processes related to the purchasing and supply planning in order to ensure that raw materials (DNP and 3rd party) will be available to meet expectation/forecasted sales demand, within targeted CDI and finished products are delivered to customers in full on time. Contributes towards the overall achievement of the business objectives. Key Areas of Accountabilities/Responsibilities Procurement
Manage all local purchasing activities of 3rd party raw materials and packaging materials providers in line with agreed purchase procedures and quality standards
Manage supply plan and replenishment DNP Materials for DSM Indonesia.
Ensures that the administration processes related to purchasing are conducted in an accurate and efficient way in line with business guidelines/regulations.
Monitors the market for new purchasing opportunities and keeps the organization informed about new market developments.
Manages a local network to generate insights of the price developments of raw materials in the local market
Initiate new material qualifications upon request.
Sourcing new alternative/ back up material to reduce supply risk and make sure the supply is continuity.
Contribute actively to Business Purchasing Plan/ VTT/ PIP / A&B by developing and implementing regional saving opportunities.
Report status of saving initiatives on a regular basis to the Regional Manager Premix Purchasing.
Manage and develop relationship with vendors.
Develop and coach the direct reports in order to further improve the Procurement performance of the team.
Negotiation, PT Extension: to extend the payment term of all local vendors.
Supply Planning
Lead the planning process in the development of a plan encompassing the agreed sales, supply and inventory plans, to meet the short and medium term policies of the business.
Provide input to S&OP meeting with "what if" scenarios to the proposed plan and simulate the effect of various alternatives.
Ensure the effective execution of the S&OP planning process.
IBP / APO Forecast updated for DSM Indonesia planning for DNP materials following the IBP / APO forecast for Indonesia.
Prepare proposals for the demand plan based on input of demand forecast analysis.
Manage inventory levels in line with stock policies and in agreement with business objectives
Identify and agree supply chain improvement projects with business and manufacturing management.
Manages an efficient process for the import of raw materials in line with business guidelines and local legislation.
As part of the regional Supply Chain team contributes to the regional supply chain team objectives.
Contribute as a team player in a positive and professional way towards the achievement of the business goals and objectives
Logistics
Working together with BDP (custom clearance agent) for all the clearance processing, including proposing the fund to DSM finance for tax payment
Local Trucking: sourcing, negotiation, registration of trucking company for premix delivery.
Regularly checking the Indonesia Import regulation and take an action on every issue of import custom clearance
Comply with SHE policy and communicating to all vendor on delivery processing (in/out).
Required Education & Skills
Degree in any discipline; Supply Chain management or Business Administration would be desirable
Good working knowledge of Planning models and supply chain management
Working with integrated IT systems like SAP and demand forecasting systems
Preferably working knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and GMP Management
Experience in leading a team
Business proficiency in English to work with internal and external stakeholder
