In your role as head of Test Equipment Engineering, you will be responsible for maintenance, engineering, and process for Final Test. You will be working closely with production, planning, and Test strategy to meet the current and future growth in Batam Test. You will be accountable to meet quality, test cost, OEE, and delivery goals, as well as forecast commitments to TCR/LTCR, and develop/track-focused performance metrics.
In your new role you will:
Drive and manage Test cost improvement through innovation projects to meet the segment cost target.
Drive & manage overall Test equipment efficiency (OEE, MTBA, MTBF) program through an innovative approach, including overall Test KPIs in the overachieving year-on-year TCR target.
Lead & develop competency drive for Test EE organization.
Lead and drive cost-saving projects through improved equipment performance and uptime and low spare part cost, equipment maintenance.
Drive and maintain a structural and systematic maintenance system to ensure low downtime.
Define and improve effective preventive maintenance programs for equipment & test hardware
Establish close interface with Product Engineering, Test Development, Test Technology Innovation, Planning, Quality, and Business Units to improve and resolve production technical issues.
Drive test cell capability assessment, upgrade, sustainability & stability.
Drive and maintain a real-time predictive maintenance program to enable the next level of productivity.
Ensure the overall health level of Test equipment to meet production demand or orders.
Provide input on decisions for new test cells, system upgrades, and advanced repairs.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Semiconductor Technology / Microelectronics / Electrical / Electronic Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of Backend Test relevant working experience.
Extensive knowledge of final test processes and Semiconductor Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) maintenance procedure
Extensive knowledge of the techniques and methods of analysis & improving test cell performance
Strong project leader as well as an excellent team player with sound presentation skills
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and in a multi-cultural environment
Strong communication and negotiating skills to manage global and multicultural management teams and stakeholders successfully
Responsible for monitoring and reporting progress and achievements made against the established maintenance standards and targets.
Responsible for overall test maintenance budget and driving costs down to enable overachieve targets.
