Ensure completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Your responsibilities

System Engineer that handles commissioning for Protection Relays and System.
Lead commissioning team at site with the team member are protection engineers and testing subcontractor (if any).
Lead internal test in panel maker and to lead FAT with customer witness
Lead/coordinate all parties in commissioning team (customer, PLN, subcontractor, and testing engineers) so the works can be done within targeted duration.
Doing site commissioning within budgeted duration time
Control and monitor progress of commissioning process at site and actively take actions to optimize the site works.
Prepare all necessity prior to go to site including generate design, and detailed engineering deliverables for a particular engineering discipline (System Engineer) base on the technical specification.
Assists in creating proposals for site commissioning projects or programs through provision of bills of materials and estimated site testing hours for own discipline. Give feedback to Sales team about the site commissioning aspect of the project for further improvement.
Ensures completion of risk and opportunity assessments and the implementation of resulting actions for own projects. Reports early any contract/quality/program/cost issues to management for resolution.
Ensures that Hitachi Energy is presented as a professional organization in all interactions with the customer.
Processes and Tools Uses standard processes and tools including Protection Test Tools.
Responsible for HSE aspects at site during testing and commissioning works
In collaboration with OHS Coordinator, Follow Hitachi Energy HSE policy and actively participate in country and division HSE Program.

Your background

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Minimum 5-year experience in Substation Protection Engineering & Testing, 150 KV and 500 KV Protection Setting and Testing
Knowledge of utilities and industrial networking concept, incl. communication protocols such IEC61850, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-104
Basic knowledge of PLC programming in accordance with IEC-61131-3
Experience with network engineering and ICT (PC handling, windows application, PC configuration, virus scanner, interfaces, back-up)
Result oriented with excellent organizational skills
Good communication and information seeking skills
Good systemic thinking ability and detail oriented
