Job Description

Principal Technician Maintenance is responsible for maintaining, operating, repairing and testing all plantation, building, utility equipment, and project execution. The Principal Technician Engineering & Maintenance shall give his/her support to ensure the continuous running of all operations and utility equipment, have the ability to supervise contractors and coordinate the contractors’ work including the agriculture tools, machinery and project (CAB) under his/her responsibility.

The Principal Technician Engineering & Maintenance shall give his/her support to ensure the continuous running of all operations and utility equipment, have the ability to supervise contractors and coordinate the contractors’ work including the agriculture tools, machinery and project (CAB) under his/her responsibility.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Create maintenance schedules to ensure a continuous, safe and efficient operation of the site facility and comply with the safety standards.

  • Project execution (design and implementation) of CAB in Pangkep and also support Tarengge if needed.

  • Establish and execute the utility corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure that the site equipment availability and reliability is sustained to meet operational target as directed by the line manager.

  • Respond to emergency situations and unplanned utility/ facility operational or maintenance incidents, even outside working hours when needed.

  • Diagnose utility and facility operational problems and recommend corrective actions.

  • Work with the Pangkep site team to establish goals, priorities and expectations. Develop the action plans and strategies for accomplishing all jobs related to the utility, facility and machinery.

  • Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and work co-operatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service

  • Evaluate and control recommended consumable & critical parts for all machines within the area of responsibility

  • Lead the maintenance execution, including direction-setting, personnel development, oversight of work quality, development and implementation of improvements, and measurement of results.

  • Assist in the development of the maintenance budget and the period spending through appropriate tracking, forecasting and adjustments.
