Job Description

Are You thrilled to help and support customers, both remote and on site, on an international scale? We are now hiring Deployment Engineers to contribute to our group of high-scale experts who excel at installing the architecture, design, installation, configuration (“deployment”) on-going support (issue analysis & resolution) and monitoring, of our systems, including underlying databases and hardware, along with development of implementation and trouble-shooting data reports as needed.

As a Deployment Engineer, we expect the person strong knowledge of deployment and operations concepts – continuous integration and delivery,

Requirements

  • Full technical deployment life cycle, technical and project leadership of the deployment and support of high-availability, high-volume and enterprise-class solution platforms according to customer requirements,
  • Experience working in a high-tech organization with the skills necessary to maintain agility and to make critical decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment,
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and troubleshooting E2E enterprise services that require an in-depth understanding of the complex interactions among applications, databases, server operating systems, internet/network protocols, and client configurations,
  • A keen understanding of application, database development, system, network and solution platform administration and data security issues surrounding such an environment is also required,
  • A strong problem-solving methodology and the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as external vendors is required,
  • Experience with the implementation of processes, procedures, and results metrics for continuous operational improvement and SLA creation and adherence is required.

The Successful Candidate Will Be

  • Bachelor’s degree in related Technical fields,
  • Strong knowledge of deployment and operations concepts – continuous integration and delivery,
  • Good knowledge of and experience with Linux, MySQL using MyBatis, RabbitMQ, Hibernate, Redmine, Git and Docker,
  • Familiar with RHEL and related tools (SSH, PuTTY, Telnet, WinSCP etc.), Virtual Machines based installations, AWS as well as bare-metal based installations, JBOSS EAP, JBOSS WildFly, WebLogic, MariaDB, Monit
  • Good understanding of network (WAN and LAN) routing, TCP, IP, DNS, DHCP, and other related internet protocols, as well as IP architecture and design,
  • Preferable experience with telecommunication standards and networks,
  • Practical hands-on experience on hardware design, architecture, installation, testing acceptance, trouble-shooting, root-cause analysis and monitoring,
  • Certification in relevant areas is an advantage,
  • Business English skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening,
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills,
  • Experience with international customers and different cultures is an advantage,
  • Willingness to learn new technologies auto didactic,
  • Experience in giving trainings and educating others is an advantage,
  • Willingness to travel extensively around the world, to work on shifts and be ready to support customers during weekends and holidays.
